Dear Greg,

I feel compelled to write this letter to ask you if you know of anyone among the many people you meet in your working life, who could employ my son as a clerk or in any similar job in his firm. My son is 19 years old and has passed his General Certificate of Education ‘A’ Level with credits in English and Mathematics.

He is a good athlete who participates in soccer tournaments and keeps himself fit physically. I shall be very much obliged if you will recommend my son to any employer whom you know and help me to get him a job.

Regarding the salary it is upto the management to decide. Since he is a bright and hardwolking boy, I’m sure he will do his best to satifsy his employer.
