Letter reminding member about overdue membership payment

Dear Mr. Robert Spoon, as secretary of the club, I have to inform you that your subscription for the year 2002 is due for payment before 1 October 2002 I regret to state that, despite my repeated reminders, you have failed to execute the member’s payment of $500.00.

I take this opportunity to draw your attention to the club’s rule that the membership has to be paid by 1 June every year and that default by more than three months keeps the member liable to be forfeited of his membership.

Could you please remit the said amount to the club as soon as you receive this notice?
